COWBOY HAT


My first cake is my first attempt at making a cowboy hat. I had fun with this one, it did not turn out too bad, next one I am going to do it a little different.


DUMMY CAKE


The second cake is my very first wedding dummy cake. I'm very pleased with it. But boy, I mean to tell you "dummy cakes" to me are soooo much harder and time consuming than a regular cake.



The third picture is a close up of the top tier. Thank you for letting me share, these are nothing like the cakes that everyone else posts, but I'm proud of them and hope to continue to learn more from everyone here on the board.

The anniversary cupcake was for my girlfriend who was hell bent on having a cupcake cake. No amount of cajoling and pleading would change her mind. Now, I see cupcakes in a totally different light! Totally grateful that she MADE me do it.

The sushi cake was for a friend's boss who was just crazy about...yep, you guessed it, Sushi

And the last was for a promotion today. That is the Army Nurse Corp cadeus and her rank. She really, really wanted fruit on it. I had my misgivings but I think it turned out nice.
